Director, International Policy, U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Speaker’s Bio:
Stefanie Holland is the Director for International Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In this capacity, she works to level the playing field for American businesses by lowering barriers to trade and investment. She promotes the Chamber’s international trade agenda including: a high-standard Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement; a Trans-Atlantic Economic and Trade Pact to eliminate tariffs on U.S.-EU trade; Trade Promotion Authority, and other trade priorities. Ms. Holland is also responsible for building grassroots support for international trade by educating the national business community and other stakeholders about the importance of trade to American workers, farmers and companies. In 2011, she built support for passage of the trade agreements with Colombia, Panama and South Korea and in 2012 she supported key legislative policy accomplishments, including reauthorization of the U.S. Export-Import Bank and Permanent Normal Trade Relations (PNTR) for Russia. Prior to joining the Chamber in February 2007, Ms. Holland worked at Barbour Griffith & Rogers International, a premier lobbying firm in Washington DC.
